Professional Experience

Ryan earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and served as a submarine officer in the US Navy, where he held various tactical and engineering leadership roles. In 2015, he became a certified nuclear engineer through the Navy’s PNEO program. After his military career, Ryan completed his MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business as a Tuck Scholar. He then joined Formlabs as Head of Business Development before acquiring Radiation Detection Company in 2020.

Since acquiring RDC, Ryan has led the company through significant growth, including establishing a partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific and expanding product offerings.
