Meet Ryan Turk

Ryan Turk is the Chief Executive Officer at Radiation Detection Company, where he drives the company’s mission to redefine the dosimetry industry with innovation, customer focus, and employee empowerment. He is committed to creating value for employees, customers, and the broader community.

Professional Experience

Ryan earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and served as a submarine officer in the US Navy, where he held various tactical and engineering leadership roles. In 2015, he became a certified nuclear engineer through the Navy’s PNEO program. After his military career, Ryan completed his MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business as a Tuck Scholar. He then joined Formlabs as Head of Business Development before acquiring Radiation Detection Company in 2020.

Ryan’s Impact at RDC

Since acquiring RDC, Ryan has led the company through significant growth, including establishing a partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific and expanding product offerings. His leadership has driven a customer satisfaction score of over 80 NPS and increased employee count by over 50%, and his commitment to culture and employee well-being helped RDC rank in the top 10 of Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list in 2023. Ryan is dedicated to making Radiation Detection Company the world’s #1 dosimetry provider while maintaining a supportive and thriving workplace.
